Any designers out there have probably noticed the recently launched redesign for iStockphoto.  My quick reactions to the redesign are mostly good, but not without a few minor annoyances. 

I finally decided to finally give a couple online usability testing tools a shot.  I figure it can't hurt, and would be fantastic if they actually helped!  For this review I started with Feedback Army and UserTesting.com.

Many of my clients run their site on Drupal, and when I come into the process after the theme has been built I'm always disappointed to see a poorly patched together custom theme.  Creating a custom design theme in Drupal is simple and one of my favorite things about Drupal, however there are many ways to get to the goal, not all good ones. In my experience there is one best method... create a Zen sub-theme.  

As with many elements of design (colors, effects, etc), I find myself loving a few select fonts at any given time.  Right now, these are my 5 favorite workhorse fonts. They are crisp and clean, and work well in a variety of different designs and concepts.
